Services
A Note on Fees & Financial Accessibility
The fees listed below reflect the true value of my services. I offer payment plans & provide services on a sliding scale, guided by the concept of class solidarity. People with the most resources paying the full amount allows me to offer low cost and no-cost services to families who could not otherwise afford this level of specialized support. I do not ask anyone to prove their level of income; I trust people to give what they can toward making a community-based birthworker practice sustainable.
Please thoughtfully consider your financial situation & resources when selecting your payment level.

Birth Companion Care
Pregnancy & birth are processes of transformation. Working with a trained doula & trusted advocate during this period allows birthing people & their families to feel more informed, secure and supported as they enter a new and exciting phase of life. Whether it is your first birth or you’ve been through this journey before, individualized support facilitates ease in the transition of growing one’s family. I bring a feminist and evidence-based sensibility to care work with birthing people. My goals are to hold space, inform, minimize unwanted interventions, and empower you to experience birth with your autonomy at the center.
The value of this service is $2,500.
Payment plan & sliding scale options available. I never want cost to be the reason someone does not reach out. Please contact me to discuss your needs.
Free Consulation
Free Consultation via phone, Zoom or in-person (when feasible) to discuss your hopes and needs, and see if I would be a good addition to your birth support team. (45 minutes)
Initial Intake Visit
Prenatal Intake Conversation where we will: get acquainted; address questions and concerns about your pregnancy & labor, providers & your birthing location; identify topic areas where you might want more information or education; and define what support I can offer and what support you are most keen to access throughout this journey.
Prenatal Visits
Throughout 4-6 prenatal visits, we focus on trust-building; identifying your needs/questions/preferences to develop a birth preferences plan to share with providers; get detailed about the types of support you want from your birth team (physically, emotionally advocacy-wise), with a hands-on option to practice positions and comfort measures with me and/or another member of your labor support team.
Clients have ongoing access to my knowledge and support via email, phone, and text throughout pregnancy. Hit me up with questions about best practices, the latest research on pregnancy & labor, nutrition, pregnancy reads you want to borrow from my library—and more.
Labor Support & Follow Up Visit
You will receive continuous support from me during labor and birth. I will be on call for you beginning at your 38th week.
I offer a check-in visit while you’re still in the hospital immediately postpartum.
We’ll have a home visit during the first two weeks (timing up to you) after baby arrives. During this visit I’ll check in on how you & baby are bonding, ensure you have all the referrals needed for postpartum self-care, and help process your birth experience (if desired).
Postpartum Doula Care
The postpartum period is one of the most tender times in a family’s life cycle. Your new little one requires all of your attention, making the usual daily tasks often difficult to accomplish. Hiring a postpartum doula allows for you to protect time to replenish yourself! Allow me to bring some ease into this time for you.
A standard postpartum visit includes a meal, some light housework, opportunities for additional education, and a chance for me to care for your babe, while you tend to whatever refills your cup.
The value of one 4-hour visit is $200.
If you book 4 sessions at once, I provide a discounted rate of $700.
I can accept Carrot benefits to cover the cost of this service.
Overnight Infant Care

Not getting enough sleep in the weeks and months following the arrival of your new babe? Need to catch up with a few nights of solid rest so you can be your best self during the day? Beginning in January 2026, I am offering overnight infant care as a new service.
Overnight care is just what it sounds like! I will handle feedings throughout the night so you can rest soundly. In the morning, you will awake to homemade breakfast and a happy, fed baby.
Overnight shifts are 9 PM-5 AM or 10 PM-6 AM.
The value of this service is $375/night.
If you book 3 overnights at once, I provide a discounted rate of $1,050.
I can accept Carrot benefits to cover the cost of this service.
Placenta Encapsulation & Printing
The placenta is an incredible organ with a finite purpose; I can help you to extend its impact and honor its meaning following the birth of your baby.
Placenta encapsulation* is the practice of preparing the placenta in order to produce capsules to be consumed during the postpartum period. Consuming the placenta is an ancient practice, often believed to boost energy & decrease postpartum anxiety & depression.
The value of this service is $200 for non-clients & a $100 add-on service for birth doula clients.
Placenta printing is the practice of cleaning the placenta then using paints and high quality print paper to produce a frame-worthy imprint of the magical organ that sustained your baby’s development throughout pregnancy.
The value of this service is $50.
Cost for combined printing & encapsulation: $225
*Please note that if there is an issue of pathology—for example, if someone tests GBS positive during pregnancy or experiences infection during labor—the placenta is not considered safe for postpartum consumption. I always use vegan capsules for encapsulation.

Abortion Companion Care
Abortion is a very safe and common reproductive experience that is too often complicated by stigma and lack of affirming support. Whether you are accessing an in-clinic procedure or experiencing a medication abortion at home, I am available to offer compassionate, confidential emotional & practical support, both in person and remotely. I have a strong background in providing open-hearted emotional peer support for people experiencing abortions, as well as education in the protocols and procedures for aspiration and medication abortion methods.
This service is always offered free of charge.
An optional donation can be made to SAFE Maine, our state’s only abortion fund.
Birthing Sanctuary
Birthing Sanctuary is the facet of my birthwork that focuses on low-income pregnant and parenting folks who have histories of drug use, are in active use, and those engaged in treatment and/or recovery. As a harm reduction practitioner, I am committed to living the principle of meeting people where they are at, with solid information and compassion.
It is my firm belief that folks who use/d drugs can be and are already loving, supportive and competent parents to their children. Yet, stigma, misinformation and discrimination abound in medical settings, including in hospital birth settings. I work with Birthing Sanctuary clients to prevent, interrupt and transform the harm of stigma around substance use. It is a privilege and a sacred honor to accompany such clients through their pregnancy and birthing journeys. I also collaborate with such clients to form spaces that can offer sanctuary from outside judgment and surveillance, where they can focus on protecting their joy and fostering trust in themselves and their bodies’ ability to bring their children safely earthside.
I provide birth companion care and childbirth education tailored to the unique needs of this community at no direct cost to the individuals. This is an act of solidarity rooted in my understanding that support during birth is a human right for us all, not a luxury for the few.
